Clarksburg, WV – 2026 – The Harrison County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the Fourth Annual “The Tank” Entrepreneur Pitch Contest, returning to the Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, November 10, 2026. Doors will open at 5:00 PM, with the contest beginning at 6:00 PM.

Now entering its fourth successful year, The Tank continues to expand opportunities for entrepreneurs across North Central West Virginia. Eligibility is open to small business owners who have been in business five years or less in North Central West Virginia

From Pitch to Prosperity — Real Success Stories

Past participants are proof that The Tank changes lives and launches businesses:

• Paws Up, a former winner, now has its branded towels selling locally & online
• SR Spice, a Fan Favorite winner, opened Kitchen in Spice in 2025 and has become a beloved community restaurant
• Heirloom (Andy Walker), a finalist, successfully launched his app in 2025
• 2025 Judges’ Choice Winner Sonia Gonzales has barnstormed the entrepreneurial world with her innovative product concept

Entrepreneurs will compete for a grand prize of $10,000 in cash and a total prize package valued at $40,000, including:

Tickets are just $10 in advance or $12 at the door, and every dollar goes directly toward the Fan Favorite Award. Audience members will vote live using a QR code, and the total ticket sales collected will be awarded to the Fan Favorite Winner.

In honor of Veterans Day, all military personnel with valid ID will receive free admission. The evening will also include the awarding of high school scholarships to young, aspiring entrepreneurs.

Scholarships for Future Entrepreneurs

Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Triple H Enterprises and owner Derek Webb, the Harrison County Chamber of Commerce will once again award scholarships to Harrison County high school seniors who compete in the county Business Symposium. Each student selected will receive a $500 scholarship, forwarded directly to the college, trade school, or career center of their choice.
